Advocacy for Equal Opportunities in Sports
We advocate for gender equality in sports by working to ensure that women and girls have access to the same opportunities, resources, and funding as their male counterparts. Our programs raise awareness of the importance of equal participation in sports and the benefits it brings to women’s leadership and empowerment
Workshops on Gender Equality and Social Justice:
Our workshops delve into the intersection of gender and power, exploring the challenges women face in achieving equality in both the public and private spheres. Topics include equal pay, leadership opportunities, sexual harassment, and breaking gender stereotypes. We equip participants with the knowledge & tools to be advocates for gender equality in their communities.
Community Action and Awareness Campaigns:
AKWOS leads awareness campaigns and community dialogues to address issues such as gender-based violence, discrimination, and unequal access to opportunities.
