Program
Conflict Resolution
At AKWOS, we believe that strong communication, empathy, and collaborative problem-solving are key to resolving conflicts in both personal and professional environments. Our Conflict Resolution program provides women and girls with the tools and strategies to handle disputes constructively, whether in sports settings, at home, or within their communities.
Training Workshops
We offer practical, interactive workshops that teach conflict resolution techniques, such as active listening, mediation, negotiation skills, and de-escalation strategies. These workshops help participants learn how to manage conflict peacefully and with respect for others’ perspectives.
Peer Mediation Training
As part of this program, we train selected women and girls to become peer mediators. These trained individuals serve as neutral parties to help mediate conflicts between peers, promoting a culture of understanding and respect
Community Impact
We foster peaceful communities by teaching participants how to resolve conflicts at the community level. Our workshops empower women to take on leadership roles in community mediation and create safe spaces where all voices are heard and we seek for solutions
